"The project was founded by Geoff Hill and Peter Doig, both students at UBC, who were interested in an environmetnally friendly way of getting around to their favourite rock climbing spots. Geoff and Karun met at a presentation Geoff was giving for Biodiesel at UBC. Karun offered to have Environmental Youth Alliance sponsor and host the project. Several years, a few grey hairs, a lot of elbow grease and effort from countless people at EYA and UBC the Biodiesel pilot plant is completed."
