Founded in 1989, the Recycling Alternative preceded the appearance of blue boxes on our doorsteps. The company quickly emerged as a local leader in recycling services, committed to providing easy convenient and economic recycling options to businesses, regardless of their size or volume.
Today, the Recycling Alternative remains locally owned and operated, with over a dozen employees working hard to ensure your business' recycling efforts are helping our local environment. We have hundreds of clients across the Lower Mainland - forming an amazing community of dedicated, forward-thinking recyclers.
Ahead of the curve
As innovators in recycling for almost twenty years, the Recycling Alternative is still ahead of the curve. We are amongst the first commercial fleets in Canada to begin fueling our diesel trucks with BIODIESEL, a clean-burning, renewable, recycled organic waste based fuel, reducing our carbon emissions by up to 92% from regular diesel.
